ok fancy some Online Practise?

Well our server has Goodwood included.
Pop in *Gamers Crib CBRacing* and see Smile

I've been on this track twice now and im pretty sure ill use the BMW but that's not a confirmation. This is a test of the track and its compatibility. Im worried that the pit stops wont work however that's the purpose of this race to see.

I'll need to download the track and test some cars over the weekend before I commit myself to a choice

I'll be using the blue Corvette C5R or whatever it is, not very quick but safe.

Pits work although they are very tight. The short pit lane means the cost of a stop is minimised so I would expect alot of 2 or 3 stop strategies during the race.

On the car front, after a short test with Alex I am also going to be using a Corvette C5R. Also this is the car I would recommend as it seems to be 3 seconds quicker than any other.

After a few off-line test I can say the grid doesn't detect a jump start so I would ask you all to please be honest with your start. Also i believe from the front row the lights are not visable. To get around this you will need to look at your race timer to see when that starts.

They seem to be the only problems.

Mike, all jump starts and cuts aren't detected offline. It will detect online.

The problem with the pits is , you are turning almost 90degrees left which means braking hard for short pitlane on a full throttle straight, there has to be some warning we can use such as stating ur going in the lap you do so.

First time I've driven here, what a totally boring track! And why do I start off in a tent behind the pits?

Anyway, I'll drive the wooden plank.

Boring? I quite like how its really
fast if you get it right. I find it a fascinating track really, its by not means a favourite of mine, but its a change from other tracks really. The reason I wanted this track on the calendar is because its more of a demand to get it right. Set up and strategy are the main things. Just a change really

Please everyone use the Vette, it's so much quicker and easy to drive.

Not sure I'll be able to make this. The wifes back went on Sunday, I spent most of last night running about after her, the kids and the new puppy we bought on Thursday. I don't think I'll be a viable contender when I have to stop every other lap to make someone a drink, read stories, tuck into bed, and clean up dog do-do!

Ah sorry to hear that Mark. You can come along if you like and do a few laps with us just for fun really. Then leave when ever you want.

A puppy wow! Whats he/she called? Razz

His name is Chester and he is Boxer/Mastiff cross, only 6 months old.

Depending on the 'grief' I might get when I'll join in for however long I can. If I'm presented with wall of requests when I get in then I won't even attempt it.

haha he looks healthy. I guess hes child friendly which is good tongue

I hope your able to do some running tonight, if you do you can just park off the track and wait instead of leaving completely maybe you can come back and continue. This is just a test of the track so I'd like to get as much feedback as possible see what everyone thinks.

OK here's the situation, it seems that our friend running our server has disappeared.

So as far as i know until hes back no racing can take place..

Im really really sorry guys but the Hoster is apparently on Holiday this week and is therefore not hosting.

But dont worry, when Alex is back from his trip to the USA we'll discuss our own server and improved site.

Happy racing Smile
